CandleBut A MomentCandle

You'll always be my child-
I think of you each day,
Even though you must remain
so very far away.
A love as strong as this,
I've never felt before;
But you had to go away-
up through heaven's door.
You'll never have to suffer,
or feel pain or hate,
just peace and love and happiness-
God has given you this fate.
I hope that you can feel
just how much I care;
And, When my days are over,
in a flash-I will be there.
Pure unbounding joy!
We'll never have to part.
You'll be right by my side-
And not just in my heart.
But, until that day,
when my dream is real-
I think I understand,
just how I should feel...
"Mom, I am fine!"
this must be what you would say-
"Please don't be so sad,
we'll meet again one day:
I'm with God above -
so don't cry for me,
Our parting is but a moment
compared to eternity."

Candle~Dear Child In Heaven~Candle

You were a blessing to us all
you were a special child.
And we're so glad God sent you
to be with us awhile.
You filled our home with happiness
and made our life complete.
The time we had with you
was far too short, but oh so sweet.
Some things we don't find easy
to accept or understand.
Until we realize they're part of
our Creator's perfect plan.
Now it comforts us to know
you're with the angels up above.
While in our hearts we hold you close
Surrounded by our love

CandleHi Mommy Candle

It's me, your little Angel
Just checking in with you.
I know you're sad
because I'm gone,
and Mommy I'm sad too.
It's beautiful here,
wherever I am,
there's such a lovely view.
But mostly when I'm sitting here
I'm looking down at you
I see all your feelings,
everyday when I look down,
I love to see you smile
and I know sometimes you frown
But guess what?
I have a job to do.
God saved it for your little guy.
I get to watch over you
and protect you from the world.
So though you cannot see me
and I know it's hard on you,
You'll surely see the benefits
of the job God has me do.

Candle
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am the song that will never end.
I am the love of family and friend.
I am the child who has come to rest
In the arms of the Father
who knows him best.
When you see the sunset fair,
I am the scented evening air.
I am the joy of a task well done.
I am the glow of the setting sun.
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die!

CandleA Child LoanedCandle

"I'll lend you for a little time
A child of Mine," He said,
"For you to love the while he lives,
And mourn for when he's dead.
It may be six or seven years
Or twenty-two or three,
But will you, till I call him back,
Take care of him for Me?
He'll bring his charms to gladden you,
And should his stay be brief,
You'll have his lovely memories
As solace for your grief."
"I cannot promise he will stay,
Since all from earth return.
But there are lessons taught down there
I want this child to learn.
I've looked this wide world over,
In my search for teachers true.
And from the throngs
that crowd life's lanes,
I have selected you.
Now will you give him all your love,
Not think the labor vain,
Nor hate Me when I come to call
And take him back again?"
I fancied that I heard them say,
"Dear Lord, Thy will be done,
For all the joy Thy child shall bring,
The risk of grief we'll run.
We'll shelter him with tenderness,
We'll love him while we may,
And for the happiness we've known,
Forever grateful stay.
But should the angels call for him,
Much sooner than we planned,
We'll brave the bitter grief that comes,
And try to understand."
